⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Wonderful way to see Turkey"

We were recommended to Tayf Tours both for a couple of days in Istanbul and then for a day in Ephesus. Both were excellent! The young guide "Doc" was most knowledgeable about Istanbul, and despite the rain, made our two days together lots of fun. He also included some of his personal favourites which weren't on most tourists' agendas, including a great little restaurant in a back street on the Asian side.

We don't normally "do" tours, but we're so glad we chose to do this one! Our day trip to Ephesus was well-organised and comfortable and our guide, Azize, was just fabulous. Friendly, enthusiastic and well-informed, she paced the tour perfectly to our needs. The trip to Ephesus was one of the highlights of our 2 months' travels through Europe.

We arranged a tour with Tayf Tours before leaving Canada and everything was smooth and easy. We wanted a small, private tour for our group of 4 and that is just what we got. Our guide, Zeze, was just amazing. Her English was impeccable and her knowledge of the sites of Ephesus and Kusadasi was encyclopedic. She was warm, friendly and very well organised. A tour like ours is somewhat more expensive than the big bus group tours, but it was worth every penny. Thank you Zeze and Tayf Tours.

There were 4 of us on our very own tour of Ephesus. What a fabulous day! Our guide, Nafia, made the day fly by with her recounting of the history of the site and her warm humor and intelligence. I should add that we spent a lot of time before booking trying to figure out how to arrange this trip on our own for less money. Don't bother — it would have cost us about the same and far more hassle.

We were so thrilled with the personal service given by Tayf Tours. Chuck personally phoned us in Australia to reassure us that our trip would go smoothly. We had fascinating tours of Cappadocia and Ephesus run by knowledgeable and friendly guides, luxury cars and safe drivers. The cave hotel in Cappadocia was fabulous. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We took the help of Tayf Tours to plan our trip to Ephesus and Cappadocia for 6 days, then drop off in Istanbul. Both hotels were excellent. Hot air balloon trip organised by them was also very good. All of us enjoyed very much without any hassles. Tour guides were well-versed with history and good English-speaking certified guides. I strongly recommend Tayf Tours if any one of you is planning to visit Turkey.

We booked this trip instead of an organised shore excursion from our cruise ship. My wife has mobility problems and uses a wheelchair. Chuck was most helpful in tailoring the tour for our needs. We had a fantastic day with our guide Nafia who was very helpful and informative — she even organised a birthday surprise! Lunch at a local restaurant was excellent. We cannot recommend this company enough.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and great with establishing a pace that worked well with our group ranging in age from 5 to 82. After Ephesus she recommended a ceramics shop and rug factory — both excellent. We were worried about visiting Turkey, but this area was extremely safe and we were glad we went.

We booked a private tour to Ephesus instead of the cruise ship excursion — more sites and a better price. Our guide Nafia started our tour in a strategic sequence so we would be ahead of the cruise ship tour buses. She was knowledgeable and patient throughout. We would book with this company again and request Nafia specifically. Well worth the money and still cheaper than the cruise line.

With limited days outside Istanbul, I randomly selected Tayf Tours from Google. Ercin responded almost immediately and gave me various options. We were guests on Celebrity Cruises travelling with our 14-month-old daughter. We organised a private tour with Tayf and it was simply the best day tour of our whole trip. We had our own private Mercedes van fitted with a baby seat — safety and comfort! Our warm-hearted and professional guide Nafia made it a perfect day at our own pace. This part of the world is incredible and rich in history.

We booked a private tour of the Ephesus ruins while on a cruise from Athens to Rome — it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide Serdar is a local, spoke excellent English, and was very knowledgeable. With a private tour, the pace and choice of focus is up to you, not a group. We also got a fascinating rug demonstration. If he is representative of this company, we highly recommend them.

My sightseeing included a Bosphorus Cruise, Istanbul Old City Tour, Pamukkale, Ephesus, and Cappadocia in a cave hotel. We hired a private guide and minibus through Tayf Tours at the Ramada Kusadasi. Our guide Gül was fabulous. Her knowledge of local history and culture was exceptional and she spoke with such enthusiasm, you couldn't fail to absorb it. She is very good at judging how much information you can take in and adjusts accordingly. We will be asking for Gül again for future trips.

Tayf Tours was very helpful in arranging our Green Tour and the private shuttle to the airport. We spent only 2 days in Cappadocia and Tayf helped us make the most of it. I have been to Kusadasi eight times with my family — that means twenty years of acquaintance with Mamko at Tayf Tours.
