Chef Hazer Amani is a renowned Turkish chef, restaurateur, and culinary educator known for his modern interpretations of Turkish cuisine.
After graduating from Middle East Technical University (METU), he pursued his culinary passion in South Africa, where he trained at Le Cordon Bleu – Sillwood School of Cookery in Cape Town, graduating at the top of his class. He later continued his studies at Cape Wine Academy, specializing in world wines and gastronomy.
Chef Amani spent several years working in professional kitchens in South Africa before returning to Istanbul, where he served as Executive Chef and developed innovative culinary concepts. In 2011 he was awarded “Most Creative Chef of the Year.”
He is widely recognized internationally as a judge on MasterChef Turkey and continues to contribute to gastronomy through culinary education and mentorship.
This exclusive culinary experience is a collaboration between Chef Hazer Amani, USLA Culinary Academy, and Tour of Istanbul. Guests will join chef-led cooking sessions and curated culinary experiences designed to explore Turkish cuisine in a professional culinary academy environment.
The experiences are hosted at the professional kitchens of USLA Culinary Academy- Kanyon in Istanbul, one of the leading culinary institutions in Turkey.
Some experiences are personally hosted by Chef Hazer Amani, internationally known as a judge on MasterChef Turkey.
Other programs are conducted at USLA Culinary Academy using his signature recipes and culinary concepts, guided by professional chefs trained within the academy.
This is more than a traditional cooking class. It is a curated culinary experience where guests cook, taste, and explore the stories behind Turkish cuisine.
Each experience lasts approximately 3–4 hours and takes place in the professional kitchens of USLA Culinary Academy, offering a unique opportunity to discover Turkish gastronomy in an authentic and inspiring setting.
The Signature Culinary Experiences are expected to launch after May 15.
These exclusive programs will take place at USLA Culinary Academy and will coincide with the upcoming introduction of the Hazer Amani Cooking Academy, currently in development.
